Imperial Golf View Hotel

I travelled from the UK, and am a seasoned traveller. I found this hotel to be good for a hotel in East Africa. It is safe, and clean, and the rooms are big and comfortable (bed was huge), also didn't see any insects or mosquitos in my room. Security guards outside, and in an area with lots of Govt Ministries and a big UN base, so plenty of security in the area. The staff were very helpful in general and even gave us a free transfer back to the airport. I feel that some of the bad reviews are from those less familiar with real African hotels. A 4-star in Entebbe is not going to be the same as a 4-star in New York, but perfectly comfortable for a few days.

Easy to find location on map. Good parking area. Fair lobby. Reciption requested extra money and did not accept Booking through the website. We refused and asked for management. Then they accept. You need to walk upstairs (one or two floors depend on type of room). No elevators. Room was clean and big enough. Clean toilet. AC is good. Boiler is available with supplemented coffee and tea. Bed was pretty big and comfortable. Fair breakfast. The hotel is located in front of a mall. very close to the center. Good restaurants in the area and easy ti find Uber and boda boda.
